Blue Chip Vacations have conducted a complete review of our affiliate programme on Affiliate Window and are introducing some important changes over the coming weeks.  So if you promote us using PPC, a Voucher Code site or Cash Back site – you will need to read on…

PPC
Bidding on brand terms relating to Blue Chip Vacations is still prohibited on the Blue Chip programme.

In addition to this, as of 07.10.09 we will no longer be allowing affiliates to direct link from UK paid search campaigns.  You are asked to please refrain from using the bluechipvacations.com or Newquay.bluechipvacations.com URL as the display URL in any PPC adverts on UK search engines as it appears to duplicate our own.  We do, however, continue to encourage all other PPC activity with the use of landing pages & generic terms.

Please use the 30 day period to change or remove the Blue Chip Vacations links from your UK paid search campaigns.  Commissions on any PPC sales made during this period up to 07.10.09 will be honoured even if not validated until after the deadline has elapsed.

Affiliates wishing to carry out paid search campaigns outside of the UK may continue to direct link, but must ensure that their ads are not showing on any UK search engines. Please contact me to check if you need further clarification or would like to discuss promoting Blue Chip Vacations outside of the UK.

Voucher codes
We are making some significant changes to the way in which we work with Voucher Code sites.  The changes outlined below will come into effect in on 16.09.09.

1. All sales from voucher code sites will be de-duplicated against our own site analytics.  If another affiliate is implicated in the sale and no voucher code has been used, then the commission will be split 50/50 between the Voucher Code site and the earlier referrer.
2. If elapsed time from click to sale is less than 15 mins and no voucher code has been used, then no commission will be awarded to the voucher code site.
3.Only live offers are to be displayed, and must carry full terms and conditions.  All expired codes and offers must be removed from the site within 7 days.

Cash Back and Reward sites
From 16.09.09 all cash back and reward sites will be set to 4% commission.

To determine whether the sale has come from a voucher code site or cashback site, we will use the “Promotional Method” categorization within Affiliate Window.  If you promote Blue Chip Vacations with a variety of methods then please contact me to discuss individually.
